Strategic Security Corp is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Endicott, NY to perform foot patrols, monitor premises, and provide exceptional customer service. The role requires preparing reports, managing access points, and maintaining safety across diverse environments.

The position emphasizes proactive patrols, incident response, and clear communication with customers and staff. Eligibility includes a high school diploma, license as required, and the ability to work 18+ with U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State licensed unarmed security guard card/license if required by location.
• Driver’s license and pass state licensing test if required to drive company or client vehicles.
• At least 18 years old; U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience: At least 1 year as a security officer preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unarmed foot patrols in governmental, corporate, retail, or fast‑food environments.
• Compose reports and maintain written logs as required.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; respond to fire, intrusion or other emergencies.
• Control access and egress, verify authorization, and review entrances using security tools.
• Prevent theft of company property and other security incidents.
• Engage and assist guests following guest-experience principles: greet, engage, and thank patrons.
• Scan for threats and monitor for unsafe conditions; report findings.
• Develop rapport with customers, assess needs, and provide local area information.
