Job summary

Allied Universal in Elko, NV is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to provide security and customer service at a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and prepare concise reports for site leadership.

This is a full-time role with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and a schedule including Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. We value a people-first approach, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Guard card or license preferred; licensing may be required.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and help maintain appropriate visitor, contractor, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
