Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking a Physical Security Officer (PSO) for overnight shifts at our New Jersey sites. In this role you will protect people, information, and property while delivering high-end customer service in fast-paced environments.

The position offers a consistent full-time schedule (40 hours per week), with on-site assignments in Pedricktown and Pennsauken, NJ. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong observation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to operate company vehicles.
• Must be available to work the assigned overnight schedule at both locations.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel independently to each assigned site.
• Previous security, patrol, gatehouse, or access control experience preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
• Ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately to security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain security of assigned properties.
• Record and track incoming and outgoing truck activity, maintaining accurate logs.
• Conduct routine property patrols using a company-provided vehicle as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or security incidents.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Follow site-specific security procedures and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, visitors, and site personnel.

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
• Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
• Wednesday–Friday: Pedricktown, NJ (3 Sorbello Road)
• Saturday–Sunday: Pennsauken, NJ (6851 River Road)

Job Summary / Job Purpose

PSOs represent the front line of our security services. In this role Physical Security Officers (PSOs) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSOs may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service.
