Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and agency personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional manner; document and communicate observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications with location staff and emergency responders.
