Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Butner, NC. You will patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintain a visible presence, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will conduct routine patrols, document incidents, and communicate effectively with site management. A background check and drug screen are required by law, and a high school diploma is expected.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify visitor, driver, and vendor authorization.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication.
