Join our team as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting access control and screening at a major medical facility in Titusville, Florida. This role involves managing entry points, using metal detection equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform access control at various entry points with magnetometers and handheld detectors.
2. Conduct screenings, including walk-throughs, wanding, and bag searches.
3. Prevent weapons or contraband from entering, following the Metal Detection and Screening Program.
4. Provide excellent customer service and professional interactions.
5. Explain procedures to individuals and de-escalate conflicts when necessary.
6. Document incidents, equipment issues, and safety concerns through reports.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class D Security License (Florida).
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare security, access control, or customer service security roles.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening within specified timeframes.
