Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation in Durham, NC is hiring unarmed Security Officers to protect people and property while delivering excellent customer service and safe access control. You will monitor entrances, patrol areas, and document incidents to support property management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year of security experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• TN Security License required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty.
• Maintain clear administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents.
