Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC to safeguard people and property with professional service. You will perform foot and vehicle patrols, monitor cameras, control access, and document daily activity while maintaining a courteous, safety‑minded environment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write/speak English, and a valid security license. We offer PTO, holidays, insurance, and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid security guard card/license.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (75 lbs, patrols, stairs, weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties while on duty.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and in a vehicle to check for security violations.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors as required.
• Monitor cameras and patrol to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Maintain clear logs pertaining to people or property.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document data for management.
