Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our Huntsville/ Huntersville team in North Carolina. You will provide excellent customer service, conduct on-site patrols, control access for patrons and vendors, and monitor activity to prevent security incidents on client properties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain the NC PPSB security guard card/license, and the capacity to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to obtain and maintain NC PPSB security guard card/license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform foot patrols.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered on duty.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and by vehicle to identify security violations.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor cameras and patrol to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear logs of people and property, including packages.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document them accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
