Job summary

First Coast Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC to monitor entrances, conduct patrols, and respond to safety concerns. You will assist visitors, complete logs, and maintain site security with a professional appearance.

Requirements include a state unarmed security license, ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED, and the ability to pass background checks. Prior security or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Must have a state Unarmed Professional Security License.
• Must be able to pass drug screening, driving record check and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Age 18+ (21+ for driving roles).
• Able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 40 lbs).
• Security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor all access points, interior and exterior.
• Stand guard at assigned posts to maintain visibility and ensure site security.
• Observe and report hazards or suspicious activity and complete daily logs and incident reports.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or threats.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
