Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures and site policies at a government location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and direct visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly; document observations and notify site contacts or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to identify unusual conditions or concerns.
• Maintain activity logs and incident reports per Allied Universal and site procedures.
