Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time Unarmed) in Greenville, SC, to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial locations. You will monitor and patrol, deter incidents, verify credentials, and deliver strong customer service within a teamwork-driven environment.

Position Type is Full Time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance and 401k, ongoing paid training, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• : Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• : Alarm panel experience is preferred
• : Customer service experience is preferred
• : Access control and badge experience is preferred
• : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• : Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• : As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• : Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• : As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• : Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• : A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and other required activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
