Job summary

SecurNation in Kansas City, MO is seeking an unarmed Security Officer to protect people, property and assets while delivering excellent customer service. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor entrances and respond to alarms, ensuring a safe, secure environment for clients and employees.

You will verify credentials, document incidents with clear reports, and uphold all post orders and client-specific security procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain/maintain security licenses.
• Background investigation and drug screening required.
• Be able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to perform security officer duties and obtain KC MO Class B license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor premises, access points, and surveillance systems.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Follow post orders, client requirements and security protocols.
