Marksman Security LLC is seeking a Security Officer at the Front Desk in Denver, CO. The role offers competitive pay at $23.00 per hour and requires a current Colorado guard card and a valid driver’s license.

Candidates must be 21 or older and must pass background and drug screening. The responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying credentials, monitoring alarms, patrolling premises, and coordinating with the SOC team as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ Security License mandatory.
• Valid and Clean Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Must multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be 21 years or older as per post requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously; verify credentials of visitors and vehicles.
• Protect people and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms; report suspicious activity.
• Patrol interior/exterior perimeters to identify risks.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; contact responders as needed.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports promptly; document concerns.
• Coordinate with management to enforce rules and ensure safety.
• Security Relief Officer duties include other tasks as assigned.

Security Relief Officer Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by Management.

Security Control Room Officer:

• Push/Report all appropriate operational matters in real-time directly to the SOC Manager
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty.
• Acts on all customer service related calls and either resolves them personally or refers issues to the appropriate individuals. Manage communications for emergency and non-emergency calls-for-service, to include; phone and email workstations. Monitor email inboxes, work order service requests and all communications devices; prioritize and process incoming information according to procedure.
• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and reviewing schedules.
• Assist in the supervision and management of team of security officers, training, coaching, development and support.
• Handle all escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Coordinate emergency incidents with Security Team. Notify, assist, and direct external emergency personnel and internal Emergency Response Team as necessary.
• Acknowledge alarms and dispatch personnel as needed
• Participate in regular training and scenario based security drills
• Understand and execute emergency SOC protocols, Understand and execute general service SOC protocols.
• Perform SOC related projects and tasks as requested by the SOC Manager or Director of Operations
• Compile daily SOC activities into daily shift reports. Accurately ensure detailed shift pass-downs are issued and followed. Compile monthly, quarterly and annual SOC statistical data. Author incident reports as described in SOC protocols
• Perform other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as assigned
