Inter-Con Security Systems is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in the San Francisco area. The role involves protecting facilities, monitoring entrances, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment.

You will verify badges, screen individuals and items, and respond to incidents as part of a trained security team. Requirements include being at least 21 years old, a High School Diploma or GED, and valid licensing/certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Be able to meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state.

Responsibilities

• Covers posts at various entry points (e.g., customer counter, employee, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, parking lot, perimeter).
• Screens employees and visitors and personal baggage at entrances.
• Verifies identity badges of personnel for clearance and screen vehicles.
• Manages temporary badge process.
• Conducts roving patrols on foot or in vehicle around perimeter and facilities.
• Monitors for hazards, security breaches, and safety issues; responds to incidents.
• Operates CCTV and other security equipment as needed.
• Performs additional duties related to security of premises; may perform emergency duties.
