Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) at a logistics site in Charleston, SC. You will provide customer service to clients and visitors, monitor access points, and conduct patrols to deter incidents.

The posted schedule is Tue and Wed, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM. Experience in security and a high school diploma are required or preferred, with the ability to use a computer or tablet on site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate with site contacts.
