Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time, day shift in Pasadena, CA. The role includes safeguarding bank personnel, assets, and property, screening visitors, and responding to emergencies with trained team support.

You must be at least 21, able to read/write English, and pass background/drug tests, with CPR/AED certification and state licensing as applicable. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and converse clearly in English.
• Capable of handling the physical requirements of the position.
• At least 21 years old in the USA; regional exception possible.
• Satisfactory completion of drug test, criminal background and MVR checks.
• First aid/CPR/AED certification required; Fire Guard certification if applicable.
• One year of security officer experience; law enforcement/military may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard bank personnel, assets and property.
• Identify authorized personnel entering buildings/departments.
• Screen visitors, workers, vendors and others for proper authorization.
• Ensure passes or authorizations accompany personnel leaving with equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and take corrective action as directed.
• Patrol premises and follow post orders; assist customers and responders.
