Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Chester, VA. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors while following site policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old, with CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Clear communication skills required.
• Observation and reporting of security incidents is essential.
• CPR/First Aid certification or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office locations, parking areas, and building perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry/exit.
• Respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel per protocols.
• Assist in maintaining awareness of security-related conditions affecting personnel or property.
