Job description

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by performing general unarmed security duties.
2. Promoting safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
3. Understanding and complying with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
4. Participating in training and familiarizing oneself with general safety procedures.
5. Interacting professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
6. Providing customer service, with basic to intermediate computer skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
7. Performing routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and working in all weather conditions as an unarmed security officer.
8. Responding promptly to calls from the operator requesting shift coverage.
9. Cross-training in various locations to learn different SOPs and site instructions for coverage needs.

Qualifications:

1. Must be 21 years of age or older.
2. High School Diploma or GED required.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
4. Ability to follow complex instructions.
5. Availability to work proposed schedules to fill vacancies, call-offs, and PTO requests.
6. Strong interpersonal skills.
7. Willingness to participate in screening processes, including drug screening and background checks.
8. Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
