Job summary

Allied Universal in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Security Officer for Patrol Operations with DoD Secret clearance. The role includes armed/unarmed patrols, access control support, and incident response at an aerospace/defense location.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking, and perimeter to identify/report hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor/employee/contractor entry procedures per site requirements.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
