Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Days position in Lima, OH. The role involves protecting clients across Manufacturing & Industrial sites, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing location, you will monitor areas, deter incidents, and report observations while following site protocols. The position offers a steady day schedule and competitive pay of $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following industrial site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
