Job summary

Allied Universal in Lima, OH is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Day shift to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial settings. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding safety and integrity.

The role pays $20.50 per hour with a daytime schedule (Fri 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Sat 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM).

Qualifications

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security-related incidents; respond calmly to incidents.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
