Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in South Bend, IN to serve and safeguard clients across industries. Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen to be administered as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a telecommunications and technology workplace by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and public emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately using required reporting tools.
