Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Bala Cynwyd, PA. You will provide protection, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

In this role you will conduct routine patrols of the property, report security concerns, and respond to incidents in a calm, solution-oriented manner.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support an orderly environment.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
