Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation in Hillsboro, OR is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to protect people and property across multiple shifts. This role requires strong customer service, incident awareness, and physical readiness, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate will hold an OR Security License, a high school diploma or GED, pass a background check, and be able to read, write and speak English. Weekend availability preferred and immediate employment offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid OR State Security License.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proficient with computer programs and software.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Safeguarding assets: oversee daily security operations to protect assets, employees and guests.
• Rapid response: monitor, direct and respond to security and safety issues.
• Active engagement: regular foot patrols and physical activity.
