Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. in Gresham, OR is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents in accordance with post orders.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon DPSST Unarmed Private Security Officer certification.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
• Customer service experience and a professional, service-oriented approach.
• Valid driver's license and an MVR approved under SEI's policy if post requires operating a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and grounds to deter and report safety concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify identification for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Enforce site security procedures per Post Instructions.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate daily activity, observation, and incident logs.
• Write clear incident reports and communicate information via radio, phone, and in person.
• Operate security technology including CCTV and access control systems.
