Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Danville, VA. You will monitor and patrol a manufacturing/industrial site, manage access control, and respond to incidents with clear communication and professionalism.

Applicants should have 3+ years in security or a related field, be comfortable with computers, and be prepared for a background check. Valid driver’s license may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security-related experience or a college degree.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Verify credentials and document visitor/contractor entries, reporting unauthorized access.
