Job summary

Coastal Security Services, Inc. (CSSI) is hiring unarmed Security Officers to cover client sites in Pooler, Savannah, Rincon, and surrounding GA areas. We offer 8- and 12-hour shifts across 24/7/365 operation, with most posts requiring weekend availability.

Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours weekly. We provide continuous placement once screened, a supportive training path, and opportunities to advance to supervision and leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain Georgia security officer registration.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and entry points; verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents and alarms.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
• Observe and report safety hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as the professional first point of contact for everyone entering the property.
