Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for the 1st shift in St. Louis, MO. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, patrolling, and reporting hazards while delivering professional customer service.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, English communication skills, and a valid License. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend work and company benefits including medical, life, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.

• Preferably valid City of Kansas City, MO Guard License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

• Able to perform patrols, lift moderate weight, and work outdoors in all weather.

Unarmed Security Officer - 1st Shift(Guarding)

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferably in possession of a valid City of Kansas City, MO Guard License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
