The position is based in Apopka, Florida, with shifts including Sunday 3pm–9pm and Monday/Tuesday 9pm–5am. Candidates should have a Florida Class D license, reliable transportation, and strong reporting and observation skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class D Security License is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Clean, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to write detailed, grammatically correct reports.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Must possess a personal smartphone for reporting.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Prior experience in luxury residential or hospitality security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) with a minimum of 8 entries per shift.
• Patrol and secure key areas including corridors, stairwells, pool deck, parking garage, and common areas.
• Enforce site rules, respond to incidents, and deter unwanted activity with discretion.
• Interact with residents and guests in a courteous and respectful manner per company standards.
• Report maintenance or safety issues and document findings using approved protocols.

• Enforce site rules, respond to incidents, and deter unwanted activity with discretion and professionalism.

• Interact with residents and guests in a courteous and respectful manner, following Excelsior's standards of conduct.

• Report maintenance or safety issues and document findings using appropriate protocols.
