Job summary

GSG Protective Services is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to monitor and protect sites. Officers will observe and report activities at the assigned post, and follow site orders for each location.

Qualified candidates are 18+ with a state security guard permit, identity/work authorization documents, and a High School Diploma or GED. Training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Listen, understand, summarize, transfer and retain basic instructions and detailed information.
• Ability to observe and report activity.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Security Guard Permit as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Be alert and attentive while on duty to ensure personal safety and your ability to observe activities, irrelevant of working environment.
• Collaborate with all GSG Protective Services and client staff, irrelevant of position rank or title.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Observe and report various activities on and around the assigned post.
• Practice all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Report designated activities and irregularities by submitting written and/or verbal reports.
• Additional essential duties will be defined in the Post Orders of the specific post.

Job Skills / Requirements

GSG Protective Services is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to work at a variety of sites and posts. Unarmed Security Officers will, at a minimum, be responsible for observing and reporting activity at the site assigned. Additional duties and responsibilities will be defined in the site-specific post orders.

• Be alert and attentive while on duty to ensure personal safety and your ability to observe activities, irrelevant of working environment.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Security Guard Permit as required by state law.
• Documents that establish identity
• Documents that establish authorization to work in the U.S
