Job Skills / Requirements
You do not have to have a security license to be hired for this position. TriCorps will help you attain your conditional license and then your unarmed security license.
Your duties may include monitoring entrances and exits to buildings, protecting employees and facilities, responding to company alarms, and providing general surveillance. You may also patrol areas on foot and answer calls for service.
Other common duties also include writing daily activity reports, answering phone calls, greeting employees, guests, and vendors, and contacting the fire department or law enforcement during certain circumstances, such as criminal violation, fire, and trespassing. Employees may also be required to escort personnel to and from the facility.
