The Public Safety Officer Unarmed protects personnel and property within the INTEGRIS Health buildings and on all contiguous grounds. The role involves preventing criminal, destructive, or disruptive activity, correcting hazardous conditions, controlling traffic, providing public service to patients, visitors, and employees, and performing parking enforcement duties when directed. The Public Safety Officer Unarmed responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This position reports to the Public Safety Sergeant, Lieutenant, and the Public Safety Manager. It may involve additional physical demands or respiratory fit tests. The role includes interaction with potentially combative persons, participation in fire and bomb threat responses, and work in various environments, including hazardous chemical areas and all weather conditions.
