Peralta Associates & Defense in Modesto, CA is seeking full-time Unarmed Security Officers to join our growing team. You will conduct regular observation of client premises, perform foot patrols, monitor the perimeter, and handle incident reporting.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service while following safety procedures, responding calmly to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. Requires CA Guard Card, arrest power, Use of Force certs, and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card is required.
• Power to arrest certificate required.
• Appropriate Use of Force certificate required.
• Remaining 32 hours of the training.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety, security procedures, and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills.
• Patrol the site on foot to identify potential dangers or criminal activity.
• Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary.
• Maintain accurate reports by documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Issue verbal warnings, make arrests (if applicable), and/or contact law enforcement for security violations or criminal activities.
• Adapt to various working environments and conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
