Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) strives to provide reliable security for businesses, homes, and government entities. IPSC offers armed and unarmed guard services, patrols, and emergency response across various sectors.

We are seeking an Unarmed Security Officer. Pay is $13 per hour, paid weekly. Schedule: 11:30am-11:30pm. Must have reliable transportation, active cellphone, and be 25 years or older. One or more years in security is preferred. Must be able to stand and walk long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
• Operate emergency equipment when needed and document nightly operations.
• Investigate breaches of property and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Job Skills / Requirements

IPSC is recruiting for professional security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

Pay is $13 per hour, paid weekly! -Inside Security Guard

Schedule: 11:30am-11:30pm

Must have reliable transportation.

Must have active cell phone.

Must be 25 years or older.

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Must have at least 1 or more years of experience in security work

You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences When necessary, performing control procedures Operating emergency equipment Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports Investigating breaches of property You must meet the following requirements: Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Sound communication skills Professional presentation Ability to work as a team member and solo Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week Reliable transport Active cellphone Ability to pass a drug screen

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
