Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring for Unarmed Security Officer (Guard Security) in Dallas. The role demands professional security and exceptional customer service to protect businesses, homes, and government sites. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with retirees and veterans encouraged to apply.

Pay is $15 per hour, paid weekly, with 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm. Candidates must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and an active security

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Active security guard license required.
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, 7 days a week.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
• Conduct control procedures when necessary.
• Operate emergency equipment as needed.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
• Investigate breaches of property.

Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for professional security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly-regarded team. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retireesand Veterans are welcome.

Pay rate is $15 per hour, paid weekly.

Possible Schedules: 12hr shift

6am-6pm

Requirements: Must be 21 years or older have a valid Driver's License, clean driving record and a active security guard license.

Prior law enforcement, military, and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus.

You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills

• Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
