Job summary

Nysonian Inc. is seeking dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets in a warehouse environment in Las Vegas, NV. Officers serve as a visible deterrent and respond calmly to incidents.

You will patrol areas, respond to emergencies, de-escalate conflicts without weapons, write reports, enforce policies, and assist guests and staff while maintaining vigilance during extended shifts in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state security guard license or registration (Nevada PILB) or ability to obtain before starting.
• Minimum age 21+; background check and drug screening.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and contact police, fire, or EMS when needed.
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal techniques; no weapons used.
• Write clear daily activity and incident reports.
• Enforce site policies and assist guests and staff with directions and queries.

The Opportunity

Nysonian is seeking dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets in warehouse. Officers serve as a visible deterrent, respond calmly to incidents.

What You'll Own

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to detect and deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, and disturbances, and contact police, fire, or EMS when needed.
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal communication and approved techniques, without the use of weapons.
• Write clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
• Enforce site policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
• Assist guests and staff with directions, escorts, and general questions.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and suspicious activity to supervisors.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state security guard license or registration (e.g., Nevada PILB work card), or the ability to obtain one before starting.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a consistent attendance record.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and monitoring systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• De-escalation or crisis intervention training.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
• Patrol in varying weather conditions.
• Remain alert and observant throughout the full shift, including overnight hours.
