Job summary

United Security Inc. in Manhattan, NY is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to protect employees, clients and property for a Manhattan-based client. You will conduct patrols, manage access control and report incidents to ensure a safe environment.

The role requires customer-service excellence, the ability to work in a team, and familiarity with security technology. Shifts include weekend and weekday blocks, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of security officer experience preferred.
• Valid New York State Security License and CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees, clients, patrons and property.
• Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the premises.
• Assist with reception duties and badging.
• Monitor front desk operations to verify visitors.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior promptly.
• Maintain security equipment and access control systems.
• Prepare accurate daily incident reports.

Saturday: 2:30pm-10:30pm

Sunday: 2:30pm-10:30pm

Tuesday:8am-4:30pm

Thursday:8am-4:30pm
