Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to support our Jessup, MD locations. The role emphasizes vigilance, professional conduct, and reliable shift coverage to protect people and property across client sites.

The position requires a Maryland MD Guard Card, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work 3rd shift. You will report on incidents, patrol perimeters, and enforce site policies with a focused, customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Security Guard Certification (MD Guard Card).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work 3rd shift
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform patrol duties for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at multiple locations, often on short notice
• Conduct foot and vehicular patrols to monitor premises and maintain a visible security presence
• Protect property, assets, staff, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
• Enforce company and site-specific policies and procedures
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other security personnel
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times

Flex Security Officer

Location: Jessup, MD

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and highly professional Unarmed Security Officer to support coverage needs across various client sites. This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who is adaptable, responsive, and comfortable working in a variety of environments. Flex Officers play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security by providing patrols, monitoring activity, and stepping in wherever coverage is needed.
