Job summary

Prosegur in Florence, Alabama is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff. You will perform routine patrols, monitor CCTV, and ensure compliance with client and company procedures.

The role requires 1–2 years in CCTV and customer service, plus strong English communication and a valid license. A professional, customer‑oriented approach is essential, with willingness to undergo background checks and training.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 1–2 years experience with CCTV
• 1–2 years experience in customer service
• Must pass all necessary training
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Clean driving record and valid license
• Able to follow complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willing to participate in screening process (drug screen & background)
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while performing unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements and post instructions.
• Participate in training and learn general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public professionally.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and strong written and oral communication.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather conditions as an Unarmed Security Officer.
