Job summary

INTEGRIS Enid Hospital is seeking a variable shift, PRN, unarmed Security Officer for our facility in Oklahoma City, OK. The role requires licensure within 6 months and adherence to security protocols while supporting patient safety and property protection.

Preferred candidates may have prior private security or law enforcement experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a commitment to ongoing credentialing and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Secures property and facilities, addressing unauthorized access.
• Manages pedestrian and vehicle traffic; ensures vehicle safety and issues citations as needed.
• Assists patients, visitors, and motorists when requested.
• Supports drills and inspects for hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Documents incidents with detailed reports.
• Assists with helicopter pad operations during landings and emergencies.

Join our team as a variable shift, PRN, Unarmed Security Officer at INTEGRIS Enid Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

• CLEET-Armed Security Guard License OR CLEET-Unarmed Security Guard License within 6 months of hire
• IAHSS- Cert HC Security Supervisor (CHSS) within 1 year of hire
• IAHSS-Cert Adv HC Security Officer (CAHSO) within 1 year of hire
• IAHSS-HC Security Officer (CHSO) within 1 year of hire
• MMPI or CPI psychological evaluation required post hire for Taser weapon evaluation
• Possess and maintain a current Oklahoma State Driver’s License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of private security, law enforcement, or military experience
• 12 credit hours of college

The Public Safety Officer Unarmed responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Secures property and facilities, identifying and addressing unauthorized or illegal access.

• Manages pedestrian and vehicle traffic; ensures vehicle safety; issues citations and investigates accidents as needed.

• Provides assistance to patients, visitors, and motorists, including escorts upon request.

• Supports fire drills and conducts inspections for hazardous or unsafe conditions.

• Documents incidents accurately through detailed written reports.

• Assists with helicopter pad operations during landings and emergencies.

• Completes assigned projects and follows direction from Public Safety leadership.

• Ensures compliance with organizational security policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Assists clinical staff with managing and restraining disruptive or violent individuals.

• Detains suspects when appropriate until law enforcement arrives.

• Responds to and manages interactions with combative individuals.

• Participates in emergency responses, including fires and bomb threat searches.
