Job summary

Omniplex is seeking security officers for part-time roles performing patrols and access control at Buyer’s facilities. The position involves enforcing security and property controls, responding to incidents, and completing written reports.

Applicants should be US citizens with a valid driver's license and the potential for a Secret clearance. English communication, basic computer literacy, and the ability to pass checks and an employment physical are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Secret clearance or higher preferred
• Criminal, credit and driving records checks required
• Employment physical successful completion
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and complete forms
• Clear written and spoken English
• Must be computer literate with hardware
• Good communication skills and ability to pass training and obtain licenses
• Aerospace security experience 6 months+ preferred

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant
• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report security or safety deficiencies
• Conduct timed patrol tours and signoffs as directed
• Respond to crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, contain
• Enforce access and property control policies at gates and lobbies
• May require lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent interruptions
• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; climb 8+ flights of stairs
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Security Officers provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control.

Part-time schedulesare available.

PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION

$23.64/Hr. (Varies based on level of Security Clearance)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant
• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies toassist,observe, report, andcontain
• Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies
• Subjecttofrequent interruptions
• May berequiredto lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Prefer to have a current Secret Clearance or Higher
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
• Successfully to pass an employment physical
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware
• Communicate effectively
• Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses
• 6 months or more of aerospace related security experience preferred
