TriCorps is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers for Arlington, VA, dedicated to safeguarding students, staff, and visitors. This part-time role covers 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, with a focus on vigilance and courteous service in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to school grounds, entrances and buildings to maintain safety.
• Provide a professional, reassuring presence with students, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct campus patrols to deter and detect security concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents or requests for assistance per protocols.
• Communicate clearly with staff, law enforcement and TriCorps management about safety issues.
• Prepare accurate daily activity, observations, and incident reports.

• Provide a professional and reassuring presence while interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct patrols of campus facilities and outdoor areas to deter and detect potential security concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or requests for assistance and follow established protocols.
• Communicate clearly with school staff, law enforcement, and TriCorps management regarding safety issues or incidents.
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports documenting daily activity, observations, and incidents.
• Support emergency procedures and assist during drills or crisis situations as directed.
