Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials according to site requirements; report unusual conditions to leadership.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports documenting incidents and patrol findings.
