Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an unarmed security guard for parking lot patrols. The shift is 5:30pm to 11:30pm. The role focuses on patrolling multiple premises, preventing crime, and providing excellent customer service.

We welcome retirees and veterans. Requirements include being 25+, valid driver's license, clean background, ability to pass drug screen, and good communication. Training provided; previous law enforcement or security experience is a plus.

Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting Licensed Security Guards with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team in Jonesboro, AR .

Unarmed Security Guard:

Shift Times: 5:30pm - 11:30pm

Requirements:

• Candidate must be at least 25 y/o
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must have a clean criminal background

Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus, however training will be provided to the right candidate.

Retirees and Veterans are welcome.

You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reportsInvestigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work as a team member and solo
• Reliable transport

• Ability to pass a drug screen

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work
• Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
