Job summary

Allied Universal in Detroit, MI is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Field Patrol to safeguard government locations and provide exceptional customer service. You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while upholding policy and safety standards.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening as part of employment.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
A drug screen may be required.
Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and maintain professional communication with site representatives.
