Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join a highly trained team protecting critical facilities, public venues, and clients’ personnel. You will be trained by firearms instructors in safe handling and marksmanship, supporting a broad spectrum of security services.

The role emphasizes client culture, professionalism, and a strong safety mindset, with opportunities for growth, paid training, and enterprise-scale experiences across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• One year of security experience, military or police background.
• Pass a 5-panel drug test and a federal background check prior to placement.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a High School GED or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Document all physical security breaches/incidents and actions taken in response.
• Monitor life-safety equipment and document any deficiencies in writing to Security Management.
• Respond to all alarm conditions and any other indication of suspicious activities.
• Meet and greet all tenants, sign in visitors and contractors.
• Respond effectively to all calls for assistance.
• Must be sensitive to the client’s culture and strive to maintain a positive client brand image.
• Treat Client’s employees, invitees, and guests with the utmost courtesy and respect.

Additional Benefits Vary Depending On Position.

Security personnel are to be certified and trained and will be assigned a variety of standing, sitting, and walking posts.

May be required to perform emergency duties that require physical exertion, such as standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs., and running.
