Job summary

Star Pro Security Patrol Inc in Orange County, CA is seeking an unarmed security guard to protect our premises, employees, and visitors. The role emphasizes vigilance, observation, and clear communication to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements include a current BSIS Guard Card and the ability to work a graveyard schedule (Thu-Mon, 10:00pm-6:00am). Gear such as duty belt, OC spray/permit or taser, hand cuffs, and a valid driver\'s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a current BSIS Guard Card.
• Must be able to work graveyard shift as scheduled (Thu-Mon 10:00pm-6:00am).
• Possession of or eligibility for required gear is expected (duty belt, restraint options, OC spray, etc.).
• Valid driver's license and the ability to provide driving record if requested.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security checks and patrol within the building.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms.
• Ensure doors, windows, and gates are secured.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain detailed incident and activity logs.
• Foot and/or vehicle patrol as required.

Scheduled Shift (Graveyard) : Thurs-Mon 10:00pm-6:00am, Saturday 11:00pm-7:00am

Scope

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant UNARMED Security Guard to join our team.. The primary responsibility of theSecurity Guard will be to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security checks and patrols within the building.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms.
• Ensure that all doors, windows, and gates are secured.
• Respond promptly to any security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain detailed records of all incidents, activities, and observations.
• Foot patrol and/or vehicle patrol

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established protocols.
• Must possess a current valid Driver's License and may be required to submit a copy of their driving records.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
