KPS is seeking a Full Time Security Guard to provide security and safety services at assigned client locations in California. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents with professional communication and documentation.

The ideal candidate should hold a valid California Guard Card, be at least 18, legally eligible to work in the U.S., possess strong English communication skills, and be able to follow post orders

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card issued by BSIS.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and post orders.
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence at assigned locations.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, buildings, parking lots, and property.
• Control access to designated areas and verify authorized personnel and visitors.
• Observe and report suspicious, unauthorized, or unsafe activity.
• Respond to security incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and other calls for service in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Conduct regular security checks and document findings.
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, access-control systems, and other security equipment when assigned.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely daily activity reports and incident reports.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, employees, visitors, emergency personnel, and members of the public.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, client instructions, and applicable laws.
• Safeguard company and client property and maintain confidentiality regarding security operations.
• Provide assistance during emergencies and contact law enforcement, fire, medical, or other emergency services when appropriate.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Full Time Security Guard

Pay: $20.00/hour

Position Summary:

The Security Officer will provide security and safety services at assigned client locations. Officers are expected to remain alert, conduct regular patrols, monitor activity, respond appropriately to incidents, enforce site-specific policies and procedures, and maintain accurate documentation throughout each shift.

The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
