Reports to

Branch Manager or Account Manager

Job Summary

This position is under the supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers, and visitors to assigned sites.

Job Duties

1. Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
2. Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
3. Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and submit them to the proper contacts.
4. Complete patrols as required by post orders.
5. Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
6. Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
7. Report all violations of company policy and laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Additional Responsibilities

• Stand for extended hours.
• Willingness to work extended hours.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required by the client and the post.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Maintain a safe environment for officers, clients, vendors, and employees.
• Deal tactfully with the public.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean criminal background.
• Ability to obtain state-required licensing.
• Ability to perform job duties.
• Physically able to walk and stand for extended hours.
• Physically fit to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Military veterans and former police officers are encouraged to apply.
